Kenny’s Strawberry Farm

DRESS: Target

HAT: Target

Have you been looking for something new and original to do with your family? It feels like we can easily get caught up in familiar routines by always going to our “go-to” places. Our family went strawberry picking for the first time with the SoCal Blogger Babes at Kenny’s Strawberry Farm and I seriously can’t believe I haven’t done this sooner!! Who knew picking strawberries could be so much fun?

This farm is by far one of the most beautiful places that I’ve ever been to. The farm is on a small hill surround by mountains. Being born and raised in Texas, I don’t think I will ever get used to seeing the mountains as the background of pictures! It almost looks fake to me haha. Anyway, Jackson absolutely loved picking the strawberries! These were by far the largest and most vibrant strawberries we have ever seen. They definitely make the store-bought strawberries look tiny!!

If you’re worried about there being enough strawberries for your family to pick; don’t! Kenny’s Farm has SO many rows of fresh produce, enough to bring some home for the week! They even sell fresh jam, cute apparel, and the cutest shop local bags. Make sure to stop by so you can taste the best strawberries in SoCal!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing holiday weekend! Our’s was quite eventful to say the least lol. As many of you already know, we are moving to California in June so it was time to take a trip and find the exact location we will be living. We decided to make it a road trip so we could bring our dogs and save money (we really don’t like going anywhere without them haha). It took us about 18 hours each way and actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be! We had to spend most of our time driving around looking for houses to rent, but on our downtime, we got to go to the beach and do some site seeing. California is seriously SO beautiful and such a change of pace compared to Texas. The only downside for me personally is how cold it gets at night! I’ve lived in Texas my entire life, so lets just say I’m a huge baby when it comes to anything under 70 degrees. Tyler keeps convincing me I will get used to it once we are there, but I’m not too sure lol.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this beach bag and cover up from Target! I love the tassel detail on the bag and how spacious it is; total steal at only 35 bucks! Both my top and bottom of my swimsuit are on sale right now and neither are maternity! I just went a size up on the top and bottoms! More pictures and details on our trip will be up on part 2 by Friday! ❤

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Today is National ‘Take a Hike Day‘ so I thought I would share one of my favorite hikes with y’all! About 2 months ago I lived in Austin, Texas for about 15 months and discovered one of my favorite views. You get a spectacular view of Lake Austin and the Pennybacker Bridge. It is the perfect hike to bring a little picnic. When you get up to the first look-out point there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy the view and have a little snack. You can follow the path to the right and check out some other cool look-out spots or you can turn around after you’ve seen the main view. The address is 5300 N Capital of Texas HWY Austin, Texas 78730.

What is your favorite spot to hike? Comment below! 🙂
